The Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Silver Certificate is a 12-week certificate program designed to provide a practical grounding in Artificial Intelligence fundamentals, strategy, and its application for DAM. You'll gain the skills and knowledge you need to lead well-informed program planning and scoping to identify the opportunities of AI in DAM by understanding how AI can support your organization’s goals.
Learn to use artificial intelligence to assess and improve your organization's DAM processes and results. Learn different ways AI can be used in DAM, including automatic tagging and categorization, content search and discovery, recommendations and personalization, workflow automation, risk mitigation, analytics, and reporting. Review case studies of how other organizations have used AI to improve their DAM.
By completing this certificate, you'll be able to develop a plan to introduce new or better artificial intelligence capabilities to your organization to improve overall DAM effectiveness. You'll also gain insights to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and emerge as a leader in the field.
This silver certificate is valuable for professionals in any industry who use or plan to use artificial intelligence in conjunction with DAM to manage their digital assets. It is also valuable for organizations looking to upskill overall capabilities to improve the value of existing DAM workflows.
The DAM and AI Silver Certificate is designed for those with current professional fluency in DAM operations and a minimum of three years' experience working in DAM or its immediate adjacencies or who have earned the Rutgers Digital Asset Management Bronze Certificate.
You'll develop a sound conceptual understanding of AI and Digital Asset Management through an asset management lens that focuses on connecting critical concepts to deliver measurable results. The Fundamentals of AI and Digital Asset Management will teach you how to use AI to improve content organization, management, and distribution processes.
You'll discover how to integrate key AI strategies into management and leadership insights that support your organization’s goals in AI and DAM: Leading Change and Workflow Transformation. You'll dive into the trends, applications, benefits, and risks associated with AI-Enabled Workflow Strategies and explore the origins, evolution, and limitations of AI to implement it effectively in your organization.

You may be eligible if you are unemployed and a New Jersey resident. Please get in touch with your local NJ One Stop Center to apply for funding. This certificate is approved by NJTOPPS.
Students within Continuing and Professional Studies are not considered matriculated Rutgers University students and therefore are not eligible for Rutgers University’s financial aid.
